Marvel heroes go back to school
The Hulk in gym class? Spider-Man stuck eating cafeteria food? Captain America complaining about homework?
Class is now in session for the Marvel Universe's greatest heroes with the release of Marvel Avengers Academy in the App Store and Google Play.
In this reimagined Marvel Universe, heroes and villains are in college and must upgrade their characters by engaging in combat training, attending classes, joining sports teams and even…go on dates.
Players may recognize several famous voices in the game. Wrestler John Cena is The Hulk, Dave Franco is Tony Stark and Alison Brie from Community is the Black Widow.
The game will feature such Avengers as Vision, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, War Machine, Winter Soldier, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, The Hulk, Falcon, Thor, Spider-Woman, Tigra, Black Panther, Wasp, Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel.
Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV Event
It is a happening Final Fantasy fans cannot afford to miss.
The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles will play host to the ultimate Final Fantasy XV event.
The event, hosted by KindaFunny.com's Greg Miller and Tim Gettys, will set the stage for the anticipated release of Final Fantasy XV later this year.
Fans can RSVP for the event at www.finalfantasyxv.com/uncovered. For those unable to attend, Square Enix plans to livestream the program via YouTube and Twitch.
In Final Fantasy XV, players will unravel the destiny of Crown Prince Noctis and battle the warmongering empire, Niflheim. It will be available for XBox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.
Doom gets a release date
According to Bethesda Softworks, the rebooted Doom will be released worldwide on May 13th.
The premium collector's edition boasts a copy of the game in a metal case and a statue of the Revenant which stands on a LED-lit base.
Those who pre-order the game will get the Demon Multiplayer Pack which contains six Hack modules – one-time consumable items for use in multiplayer matches - as well as skins, paint colours and logos which can be used on armour, weapons.
Id Software, the creators of the original, have made Doom SnapMap a part of the new package. SnapMap is a game editor which allows players to create, play and share their own map with others all over the world.
Doom will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC.
Twilight Princess getting the HD treatment
One of Nintendo's iconic games is getting a modern face-lift for the Wii.
Releasing on March 4th, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will contain many new upgrades. The new Ghost Lantern will make the soul-retrieving quest much easier and Hero Mode will increase the challenge doubling any damage Link gets and there are no hearts to replenish him. Wallets will also hold more Rupees.
Players will also be able to use to the Wii U GamePad controller and its touch screen to access maps, inventory and other features while also allowing for off-TV play as well.
Need for Speed celebrates Year of the Monkey
Need for Speed players will be able to add the 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe to their garage soon.
If players make the grade, they can add the car to their personal garage.At the Blackridge location, players can also behold holiday celebrations, see transformed race courses sporting hanging lanterns, fireworks and a new Year of the Monkey storyline. They can also use Aura to unlock Lucky Envelopes filled with cash, materials, blueprints and gold.
