E3Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Pokemon Sun & Moon took center stage at Nintendo’s E3 2016 livestream today.

Not only did Zelda feature an open world adventure but in it Zelda has a scope to pin travel points in the very expansive world to explore. With beautiful mountains, deserts, islands and forests, the game appears to be gorgeous in detail and vast in scope.

Link is also shown paragliding through the air, taming a wild horse, climbing trees and mountains, chopping down trees, swimming and hunting, cooking and using the environment such as boulders and bee hives against opponents and fighting lots of formidable creatures.

"Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild introduces you to a Hyrule that is truly seamless. Moving from one place to another may create the adventure of a life-time. Not only is this new world vast but it feels alive," said Reggie Fils-Aimé, the president and chief operating officer of Nintendo of America.

E3"This is easily one of the biggest experiences ever created by Nintendo," he continued.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be released for the Wii U and Nintendo’s upcoming console, NX, in 2017.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise.

In the gameplay footage, we saw the starting Pokemon of the Alola region: Rowlet, Litten and Popplio as well as the legendary Pokemon: Solgaleo (psychic and steel type with full metal body ability) and Lunala (psychic, ghost type with Shadow Shield ability).

E3The Alola region is comprised of four separate islands and is a tropical setting, similar to a Hawaiian environment. Nintendo showcased the new Battle Royal mode in which four players participate in a free-for-all battle with each player using three Pokémon, one at a time in the battle.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Soon will both be released on November 18th for the Nintendo 3DS.
